The Coho Oceanfront Lodge recently opened up rooms for the much awaited Solar Eclipse event taking place in August. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit and requires a 3 night minimum in order to secure a booking currently. Lincoln City and Newport will be one of the first land masses that the shadow of this full solar eclipse will first converge on which is anticipating crowds of epic record proportions.

In the Winter we can catch and see many gray whales from mid-December through mid-January as they travel south to the warm lagoons of Baja Mexico, passing in front of Our oceanfront property and many guests grabbing the binoculars we have placed in the rooms to do a bit of whale watching, as it starts the year off this first week of the year and takes place year-round on the Oregon Coast!
