LINCOLN CITY, Ore.—In 2010, the Coho Oceanfront Lodge opened a new 14-room wing designed to pamper adult guests. At the same time the owners completely renovated an additional 51 rooms and suites to include many upgrades usually found only in luxury hotels.
This year, to further enhance the guest experience, the Coho Lodge has added a spa room where a number of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments will be offered.
"Our guests are always pleasantly surprised when they find out about our amenities and complimentary services so we thought adding spa treatments was a natural next step," said Rob Lee, director of operations.
Stylish décor in the spa includes cream and black draped ceiling fabrics, a shimmering tile wall, red draperies and two "comfortably plush" treatment beds covered with luxury linens. Surround sound, incense-burning candle sconces and centralized heating/cooling maintain a pleasant atmosphere throughout the treatments.
Spa services encompass a range of massages from deep tissue to sports therapy as well as special body treatments includingbotanical mud, seaweed gel and green clay algae wraps. Individual or couples massages are available. Visit www.thecoholodge.com for more details and pricing.
On Wednesdays and Fridays, the Coho hosts guests at a complimentary wine social and on Fridays, a masseuse also provides no-cost chair massages for further relaxation.
